Liisa is a project coordinator in Science in Society -team, and coordinates communication and interaction of BlueAdapt-project funded by Strategic Research Council. Liisa is specialized in societal impact of science, cross-disciplinary research, and models elaborating wicked problems.

Liisa is a Bachelor of Science from a cross-disciplinary degree of environmental change and politics. Now, she is finishing her studies in Environmental Change and Global Sustainability-masters program. Before coming to Demos Helsinki Liisa did her internship in the bioeconomy unit of the Ministry for the Environment. She has also worked as a fundraising coordinator for the development cooperation projects of the Student Union of the University of Helsinki. Liisa is a founding member in the Kudelma-network which aims to enhance the role of cross-disciplinary science both in the University and in the wider society.
